Auditions can be found on any of the Coaches profiles from the 17th April until the 24th April or by using the hashtag #OneVoice17aud on the Sing App.
You must be 16 years or older, have access to (or be willing to download if your audition is successful), the line app.
You will sing your auditions either Acapella or accompanied by your own instrument. You may use Polish or None fx on your audition. No voice altering fx please.
You will need 3 "yes" from the coaches for your audition to be sucessful. If your audition is sucessful, you will be given the Line account contact details for Sandi, who will assign you your group for the first qualifying round, add you to the contestants chat room as well as provide you with any additional information you may need.
The First Qualifying Round will consist of 5 groups. Each contestant will be assigned a group at random after their audition has been sucessful and they have made contact with Sandi. Each of these groups has a Guest Mentor and 3 Judges assigned to it who will decide who from each of the groups will progress to the Second Qualifying Round (Which is known as the "Knockout" Round).
The First Qualifying Round will begin on the 20th April (While Auditions are still up) and run until the 27th April. So you are encouraged not to audition at the last minute so you allow yourself as much time as possible to complete your song for the qualifying round.
The details for all Rounds, as well as your feedback and scores from the judges will all be posted here on the website.
One Voice is not like other competitions in regards to our scoring. While each contestant is scored by the judges, the scores are used to determine your rank with each judge. The higher you rank with a particular judge, the higher your score from that judge will be. For example, if their are 30 people in your group, the highest ranked contestant would recieve 30points, the 2nd 29, the 3rd place 28 and so on. Your rank from each judge will be averaged to get your overall rank. (So if Judge 1 ranks you 3rd (28 points), Judge 2 ranks you 2nd (29 points), Judge 3 ranks you 6th (24 points) and Judge 3 ranks you 1st (30 points), your final score would be 27.7.
COMPETITION RULES: Failure to follow these rules may result in penalties or disqualification from the competition
* Contestants will be provided with 2 surveys to fill in once their audition is sucessful. The first one is compulsory, the second is optional but filling in the second is encouraged as it allows the coaches and guest mentors to know your styles, genre preferences etc a little better which helps us coach/mentor you better.
* Contestants will be expected to contact one of the coaches should their SING ID change so they can be updated on the relevant spreadsheets. Failure to do so could result in the judges being unable to judge your submissions as they won't know which song is yours.
* Voice altering fx (such as Pop, Super harmony, Grunge) are not allowed in the competition unless stated otherwise in the round description.
* Mashups will not be allowed unless stated otherwise in the Round Description
* As this is a 16+ competition, Contestant chat rooms must be kept PG 13.
* As not everyone has access to the feature and it is unfair on those that can't, Video submissions will not be allowed.
* Cover pictures for your songs will be provided to you in the contestants chat and/or your team chats (once teams are assigned).
